FFF #35 Recap and Weekend Ups and Downs

I'm not the only person for whom time went wonky this weekend.

Olivia kind of forgot Friday but she has great news. Read her update here.

Roz's comment ~

Way to go on your steps! I have only done my exercises 3 days this week with one thing and another. I did mow the lawn this evening though. Does that count? lol. I have also slowly just started doing the stairs at work again.

The response is YES IT COUNTS. Any getting-up-and-going activity counts! Hurray on starting the stairs at work. Incorporating steps into daily life is probably the best (least intrusive) way to get exercise!

My weekend has been weird. Saturday night I had a last minute ride-along with BIKSS cos he had visitors in town from overseas and asked if I wanted to come with to drop something off to them. He didn't seem to mind at my being there, after all, we ARE old friends - 30 years under our belt and all.

Turned out to be a double date of sorts LOL.

In the end we went for beers (while I had tea) and spent a little over a couple of hours out.

We made a plan for Sunday morning (that's today, which is why my schedule is a little thrown) to see said visitors off at the airport and then get breakfast.

It turned out to be a chicken and waffle brunch (TOTALLY YUMS)  before he dropped me off for my Sunday afternoon lessons.

The parents who have been here every Sunday didn't come today cos the father was being stubborn. So I was looking forward to a relatively quiet evening after class and even planned a little nap.

Unfortunately the brother started his nonsense again and ended up getting me fuming mad. I have since blocked him and deleted his number from my phone, AND blocked him on FB. He's just too draining and if I have to suffer one more interaction with him I will go bonkers.

I'm going to the agency tomorrow to see about getting another live-in helper for mum. We met one of the candidates last Friday and she seems to be a better fit.

If you're religious at all, I'm asking you, my blogland friends, please please please say a little prayer for us that this one works out - even amid the idiot brother's objections to having a helper in the house. Yes. He actually said NO - that he doesn't approve of getting another caregiver for my parents.

I told him to shut up and that it's not up for discussion.

If you have siblings whom you love and who love you and aren't assholes, BE VERY GRATEFUL. Tell them you love them. Do it today. Right now. Because some siblings are just grade A asshats.

Fear Or Subservience?

I have a friend, you see. Oh, but wait. First, a bit of background info. She's a couple of years older than I am. And has two kids. Both in high school - and able to fend for themselves. She works till 3 in the afternoon. Her kids don't usually get home till about 6.

Right. So here's the thing - She often drops everything and runs off when her husband rings. Even if she's in the middle of lunch. And he wasn't supposed to come by and get her. I don't know if it's him who's decreed that she should be at his beck and call, or if it's just something she does of her own accord.

One day we were having afternoon tea at 4. We were supposed to meet for an hour, then she was to head home (5 mins walk from where we were meeting) to get dinner prepped for the family. The husband would get off work at 6 and be home around 6.30 so she figured she had plenty of time to get everything on the table for the family meal at 7.

At 4.15, just as we starting eating, she got a call from him. This was her side of the conversation -

- Hi, yup, eating now.
- Oh you're done already? Um, not yet.
- We just got our food. Maybe half an hour?
- OK, can. I'll meet you at the cab stand.

Then she hung up, and I said "Do you have to go?" out of politeness more than anything. She *did* say half an hour.

I wasn't expecting the answer she gave me.

"Yes, I'm so so sorry.  He wasn't supposed to be done so early, but he's 5 minutes away. So I'd better start walking out now or he's gonna get grumpy. You know how they hate waiting! Let's catch up again another time, I'm so sorry."

And of course I smiled and nodded and we hugged. She left.

I now had an hour to kill with two barely-eaten servings of afternoon tea cakes and sandwiches in front of me, and a whole pot of Gryphon roobois tea.

----

Recently she asked if I could bake her a layer cake. She'd been wanting one for a while and I hadn't been baking cos of the termite fiasco and then the kitchen reno took a whole month ... so when it was finally done and I had time I told her I could do some baking the coming Tuesday. Want a cake?

YES! Hurray she said! I told her she could pick it up on Tuesday or Wednesday evening.

This conversation took place on a Friday.  On Monday she texted me to ask if it was ready. Erm, No. I reminded her it was going to get baked on Tuesday, remember?

Well, she had rehearsals on Tues and Wed, she said, so she couldn't come by on her way back from work. How about she come and collect it on Friday, she asked.

Hmmm, I don't think the cake will last that long, I said. You'd have to fridge it, and I don't have the space to keep it in mine. What time do rehearsals end? I'm not going anywhere, and I don't mind even if you pick it up late.

"I'll have to butter my husband up and see if he will allow us to detour to your place to pick it up after dinner. Rehearsal's till 6 then it's dinner at the in-laws' place, and home straight after."

"You could pop by after dinner, I don't mind. I'll be home anyway."

"I'll ask him if we can swing by, but if he says no, can you keep it till Friday? The original plan was to collect it after work and bring it home before dinner. But now that I have to stay for rehearsals, I can't come over. I get off work early on Friday so I can come by and get it then."

I apologised but said no, I wasn't keeping it till Friday.

In the end she texted me back and said he agreed to collect it on their way home after dinner. To put things in perspective, I live 10 mins away from her (by car) and my place is definitely on her way home whether she's coming from work or her in-laws' place.

I'm sorry, but I'm not going to be inconvenienced because YOU have a crazy relationship with your husband. I told you last week that you could pick it up on Tuesday or Wednesday. If that was going to be a problem, then you should have just said so.

Ok, maybe you only just found out about the rehearsals. Then tell me and we can always shelve it till the following week - after all, I hadn't baked it yet.

But not being able to tell your husband that there is a cake that needs collecting (which is along the way anyway) and wanting me to keep it in my fridge till you can sneak off without inconveniencing him, and ending up inconveniencing ME in the process? That's just not on.

These aren't isolated incidents either. We don't meet very often because as long as he's in town, dinner is out of the question. And since most of us work, lunch and tea are difficult to orchestrate. Especially if it involves more than just the 2 of us. Weekends are untouchable for her because "my husband is home, I'd better not make plans", and that leaves the few times in a year when he happens to be out of town for work. Which is when she crams in all her meet-ups.

The thing that really annoys me is how she gets up and leaves whenever he calls. In the last year we've met up about 6 times. 3 of those times were what I call hug-and-go aka handover-the-stuff meetings, the other 3 times we tried to sit down to a meal but she only made it to the end of ONE of those meals. It's getting tiring. But I don't think she has many friends left. So I try to see her every now and then.

Tell me. What do you ladies think about this? Am I over-reacting? Is this normal to you? Does it sound like she's afraid of him? Cos I think she is.

KOTW - For The Modern Miss

A lot of massage places for men in my country offer "specials" or "happy endings". I don't think I've ever heard of the equivalent for ladies. But then, I'm pretty sure it's easier to masturbate a guy to orgasm than a girl - and trust me, I've been to both places! Women tend to be a little more particular about how they're touched, and I'm sure you all know about the mental hangups etc.

Some time back BIKSS and I were in bed and he started playing with my boobs, massaging them, twiddling my nipples. Then licking, sucking, biting! Just basically giving them all the attention. It felt different - like it was FOR ME, instead of for him, you know? I mean, yes, yes, it's always for me, but he gets turned on by my reactions too so at some point it's also for him. But this time, he made no move to carry on to the "sex" part of the session. Instead, he just got comfy and hung around my boobs for a whole half hour.

It was immensely pleasurable. No pressure to get wet and have sex. No pressure to move on to more meaty stuff. Just lying back and enjoying the sensations. It was all kinds of relaxing.

And I said to him this should be made commercially available to all women! The times we live in - they are too fast. I live in a city (imagine a fast paced Hongkong style place) and everyone's always just on the move all the time. We schedule hour-long massages between meetings; make hair appointments on days when we can work outside the office - with a laptop on the counter as we wait for the colour to set; shop during our lunch hour - and inhale a sandwich in the last 5 minutes of it as we're running back to the office; cram in a movie on Saturday afternoon between the kid's choir practise (9am - 12 noon) and ballet class (4pm to 6pm), and speaking of, grocery shopping gets done while said kid is at ballet. No one has any time to just sit and chill. And what about sex? Sex is on Sunday morning before getting the whole house ready to go to the beach to have some fun, dammit! Cos it's Sunday and we're going to spend it outdoors if my life depended on it! Now hurry up cos we need to be done with having fun before 3pm! Then it's off to grandma's house for our weekly family dinner.

It's rush rush rush all the time.

Wouldn't it be great if we could pause life for a moment and indulge in some pleasurable sensations? Just for an hour, of course, cos that's all we can afford (and barely so!) but mmmm, will someone please twiddle my nipples for an hour a week? I'd be happy to pay. Cash. Or a blowjob.

How about you? Would you pay for such a service? What about a breast massage?

FFF #34 Update

Welcome to a very late recap this week!

First, Roz's update ~

I managed to do my exercises 5 days last week. I have also slowly just started doing the stairs at work again.

I have nothing else this week, except BIKSS stayed over on Friday night and I elbowed him in the head in the middle of the night. Which he didn't remember at all the next morning. :)

He also snored me awake a couple of times, which I don't really mind. It's not like I can't get back to sleep in 3 seconds flat.

Since losing weight he's also less warm these days, so we didn't have to fight over whether it was too hot or too cold - he was quite happy to have just the fan on (at low speed too) - he used to be an A/C only kinda guy.  In fact, it was a little annoying not having a nice warm body to snuggle into. There were moments when I was warmer than he was. Pfft.

Saturday morning we woke up and headed down to the shops for breakfast. It was a treat for me cos when I'm alone I don't bother. Heck, I don't even *have* breakfast on weekends.

All in all it was a lovely sleepover but he'll be away this Monday and Tuesday so I'm glad we had the opportunity to spend so much time together Friday night :)

FFF #34 and More Menopause Stories

And here we are again in another exciting (NOT) episode of Fit for Friday!

My total steps this week - 73,255
Highest steps in a day - 14,233 (that's the day we went mooncake shopping!)
No of >10k steps days - 4

This week in links - menopause.

The best friend is experiencing hot flushes. I saw it earlier today. It was a cool evening. We were under a fan having dinner. The temperature was lower than usual so there was no reason for her to break out in a sweat, but there she was, her face suddenly all a shimmer with .. wait, what's that.. water? Are you sweating??? I asked. Yup. She grinned and gave me a fake pissed off face. That's what it's been like the last couple of weeks, she said.

We talked about this over the last few weeks, but this was the first time I actually saw the perspiration just appear out of nowhere like that. I had to giggle. Her period also didn't come this month. Well, that's better than getting it twice in the same month right? She had to agree.

And so here are the links to sites I've been looking at. If you're past this stage, skip over and I'll see you on the next blog post. If not.. read on.

20 September 2018

It's Been Quiet

here on the homefront.

There's nothing much going on.

Status quo for the most part.

Something I can appreciate.

I have pics to share - enjoy :)

[courtesy of BIKSS]

what the F?

Are U kidding?

This one appeared on my facebook feed today. I thought it was funny :)

And these two pics were taken when I was at the hospital earlier. They've added a new wing and today was the first time I had to use the toilet in that building. I just thought it was so cute that they had these "big" and "small" toilet seats and wash basins for adults and kids! Right down to the mirror being lower down for the little ones! I was so amused I just had to share it with you :)

FFF #33 Recap and Shopping for Mooncakes

Hello!

Olivia's back from her retreat

And life is getting in the way of Roz's exercises! lol. ~~

OK, I seem to be falling off the fff wagon. Only managed the exercises 3 days this week. Other activities seem to be getting in the way lately preventing me from having the time to do them.

-----------

I have an update of my own.

[Please be forewarned - many pics and many links ahead.]

I have mooncakes. Many, many mooncakes. I think before too long I will be a little heavier than I am now. But hey, mooncakes!

We went across the border to the land of cheaper stuff. It was fantastic cos the exchange rate was really good too!

Those are our feet / shoes :)

And we're here!!

Rabbits and lanterns appear frequently in Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations.
Click the links to find out more.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Traditionally, mooncakes are filled with lotus seed paste and the "skin" or crust is made of a type of pastry and baked.
(I wrote some stuff about mooncakes last year which you can find HERE.)
I'm not really a huge fan of these things, and I don't celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, but food is food right?
Now since I'm not so keen on the traditional type, I decided I wasn't going to get any of them this year, and was on the lookout for a specific custard filling "lava" egg yolk type of mooncake instead. Yes, lava. Like chocolate lava cake. Only, in a mooncake, and the lava bit is salted duck egg
This type of mooncake was first introduced last year (in my country anyway), which is when I managed to get my hands on some!
That was taken off a food blog but it's the exact same one I had last year. Sadly, the mooncake bazaar we went to this time didn't have this particular brand, but we did find a similar one from another bakery. I would pay easily upwards of USD $15 for it (one piece, albeit a larger version than the one shown in the pic) here at home, but across the border it was going for about US$6.
That was reason to buy 2. Or more. BIKSS liked it too! So he got 2 as well. They normally give out samples so you can try the different flavours. We went around putting lots of different bits of mooncakes in our tummies!
I also bought some snow-skin ones (as opposed to the traditional baked types) with durian filling! AWESOME SAUCE!
It's meant to be eaten cold. So basically you gotta keep them in the freezer, and then defrost for about 10-15 minutes before cutting and eating them. The skin is a little sticky, like "mochi", for those of you who are familiar with the Japanese dessert. (If you've had a chance to try mochi ice cream then you'll have a good idea of its texture.) And in fact, this year a lot of the snow-skin mooncakes boast  chewy (the good kind!) mochi skins instead of the less elastic version of yesteryear. I am definitely liking this change!
I also got myself a flaky pastry yam mooncake. If you watch this video you'll have a better idea of what's in it. It's a relatively short one.
Next up, a slightly traditional mooncake. I say slightly because it actually *has* lotus seed paste in it. But it totally isn't the main point of this mooncake, even if it does form the surrounding layer to the central "yolk" - which is a durian lava filling. I can't wait to try this one. It's a Hello Kitty mooncake. I'm not a fan of H/K, but I DO like my lava things and I love my durian things, and if you put the words Lava and Durian together, I'm sold.  They've got My Melody and Doraemon ones too! (Click the links for pics.)
I've included the whole H/K page of their brochure here so you can see what some of the other H/K ones look like.
After all that shopping we headed to our favourite Japanese restaurant for dinner. By the time we sat down to eat it was past 9 and I was starving!
They served their sashimi in that monstrous thing. BIKSS waited patiently for me to be done with the photo then we removed all the fish and put it on a smaller plate for easier dining.
Okonomiyaki - a Japanese savoury pancake / omelette type thing
The one they serve here is made with a fish / seafood filling.
Chashu (nibuta) salad - click HERE if you are looking for a relatively simple pork recipe.
Note that you'll need some mirin (Japanese rice wine) to make this although some recipes use sake instead, so I guess you could substitute one for the other.
Or here's another recipe on Youtube which looks delish! And now I'm tempted to go make some!
*note: negi = leeks
Happy Mid-Autumn Festival everyone! Let the sugar-fest begin!
Yawn. I feel like I made progress and got my step mojo back over the last 2 weeks, then this week I'm back to an under-10k average. Still, it's not bad. Just slightly under what I try and aim for.
Fantasy Fucking Fun - A summary
Me and BIKSS - talking about what it would be like to be in the same room with another couple (we actually HAVE a couple in mind, this time) and having them watch us while I give him a blowjob.
The guy in mind is a new friend. Met on a dating app. Not date material. But he's ok as a friend. Same background, and it turns out we know a lot of the same people. So it's not really like meeting a total stranger. My best friend is friends with his sister, it turns out.
Anyway, the summary. He says his gf doesn't enjoy / give (good) blowjobs and she sure as heck doesn't swallow.
We talked about the dd/lg I have with BIKSS cos some of the questions on the dating app kinda ask about sex and he asked me about my response to one of the questions. In order to give him a clearer picture as to the "rough sex over gentle sex" answer, I thought it best to frame it within the realm of D/s.
So here was I, asking BIKSS what he thought about giving them a show and tell, and maybe his gf could learn a thing or two. Perhaps I could make a cock-worshipping sub out of her even LOL.
image taken off the web
Fast forward a day later and we're having the best freaking romp we've had in a while - we're talking double dildo, vibe, all the pinching, slapping, spanking...  I even had my finger in his ass by the end of the night.
I realised that evening that BIKSS never told me exactly how he liked me to present. So I asked him. Talk about feeling self-conscious. He said he wasn't too fussy, this was fine. Show me, I pushed.
He did. Knees apart, he said. Then he placed his hands on the side of my hips and lifted my butt higher. Like this.
Sigh. Like this.
"Like this" means now my thighs are aching from the extended length that I was in that pose.
And all that rough / anal / messy play likely caught me a UTI. I'm on antibiotics today. And will be for 3 days. Till Friday. Which is when we hop across the border for some mid-autumn festival mooncakes!!
Tell you about it after :)
12 September 2018
Thrift Shopping
I meant to go swimming yesterday but the rain oh the rain!
I ended up dragging the co-worker (she's still terrible at her work, but as a person she's nice enough) to a nearby thrift store.
Got me 2 tops and 3 dresses - one knee length and two ankle length - for a grand total of $24!
Here are my favourites -
That's an embroidered peacock (with sequins too) on a lace cheongsam blouse.
This is the top bit of a full length navy gown with a mid-thigh slit up the left leg.
Ordinarily I wouldn't buy pieces that I know I won't get too much wear out of, as they generally tend to cost a bomb, and upwards of a hundred bucks on a piece that I'd probably only wear 2 or 3 times at most seems too extravagant!
Besides, how often am I going to get the opportunity to get into a gown? Plus, since it's mostly just weddings and similarly "important" family events that I'd wear something formal to, I'll want to make sure I *don't* pick the same outfit again!
But since the stuff here was so inexpensive, I figured it wouldn't hurt to pick up a few dressier items even though I might not wear them all that many times.
I've always wanted to check out the thrift stores in my part of town, but they're not all open all the time, and at least 2 that I know of are difficult to get to. Now that I've had a taste of it tho, I'm keen to check out the others. Perhaps I will go to a different one each month - that should satisfy my urge to shop without blowing a hole in my bank account!
Tuesday Toon #38
Not quite a toon - more a funny article.
I'm not sure if I've posted this before, but I found it in the KIV folder on my desktop, so I must have wanted to share it with you guys!
And this one is for the REAL coffee drinkers out there - no bullshit, just coffee!
I like mine with a dash of milk and some cocoa. What about you?
10 September 2018
Are You Lost?
He turned on the GPS on his fone.
I noticed.
"Are you lost?"
"Nope. I just needed to see where I'm going."
"Do you know where we are?"
"Yes, we're here... " he shows me his fone.
"Did you plan to be here?"
"No, but I took turnoff a little too early and now I'm trying to see how to get to where I need to go."
"So you're lost?"
"I'm not. I know exactly where we are."
"But you don't know how to get to where you need to go! That makes you lost!"
"I'm not lost. I just don't know the place I need to get to because I've never been there. Lost is when you don't know where you ARE. And I know where we are. I just don't know where the place is. "
[[Me: Can't fight Daddy-logic. Sounds exactly like the kind of thing *I* would say. ]]
"OK Daddy, you win."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I realise I really like these little interactions. I feel like I'm pushing and testing, and in a lot of my past relationships, and I daresay in the beginning of ours, the guys tended to just give up and/or get pissy.

I'm glad that BIKSS has figured out what makes me tick and how to handle me. It's lovely!

FFF #32 Recap

And my goodness, but Roz is human after all! Who knew she could have a less-than-5-days exercise week! ;)

She writes:

I'm afraid it's been a bad week food wise with two morning teas and a dinner out. Just too tempting :( only exercised 3 days this last week too.

:) But I'm sure she's going to be back to daily exercising this week!

~~~~~~~~~~~~
In links this week, have a look at some articles on mouth/aphthous ulcers. I've been dealing with one nasty bugger under my tongue where the sublingual glands are. Ouch.
While this means that food doesn't really bother it, it DOES hurt when I eat cos you don't realise (or maybe you do) just how much your tongue moves about getting all those particles in the correct place to be masticated while you eat.
There's no use chewing away if there's nothing to chew on, and those bits of meat can seriously fly off to all the wrong parts of your mouth while you're eating - between teeth, stuck to the gums, everywhere but where they're supposed to be - between the upper and lower teeth!
I tried mouthwash (usually works for me) and then resorted to a salt water gargle (helped, but still painful!) and on Friday I caved and got me some Oracort from the clinic. Urgh.
It's slightly better today (Saturday, as I'm writing this) but by no means healed up entirely. I'm hoping by the time you read this it'll have resolved.
Enjoy!
(PLUS - It's impossible to give a blowjob when you can't use your tongue! ARRRRGH!!!)
Right. That's it. There isn't really a whole lot to be said / read about them. I mentioned to BIKSS that he would probably be better at guessing how often I'd had them in the last 6 years, given that those are the only times I *don't* go down on him.
He smiled and said, at most 4-5 times, heck, maybe even just 3.
That's not bad I suppose. I'd prefer to NEVER have them, TYVM.
8 September 2018
Being All Daddy-Like
Dinner was at a place we've found recently, as it was raining and this was a cosy little restaurant by the beach. Quite romantic and quiet, and they did pretty decent food.
We had a wagyu beef and portabello burger with truffle fries.
While waiting for our food to arrive I let out a great big yawn. There was no one else in our section of the restaurant, and I was being lazy so I didn't bother to cover my mouth with my hand.
If I'm to be honest, I know BIKSS frowns on this but I do it anyway, cos he never really made a fuss about it. In the past he would just give me a look and I'd quickly move to cover the tail end of it (if I caught his look in time).
Last night I was looking out the glass panel and watching a playful pup that was sitting outside with its family, who had chosen to dine outdoors.
"Cover your mouth... " he piped up.
I looked at him, having finished my yawn, then said, "But there's no one here."
"I'm here."
I didn't hear him clearly. It was either that or "I know," but I wanted to clarify.
"Huh?" I leaned forward letting him know I wasn't sure what he had just said.
"Daddy's here."
Um...
"Ok, daddy. "
Point taken. Duly noted. Cover mouth when yawning. In front of Daddy.
----
But wait. That wasn't it. It wasn't about offending HIS senses. He made it clearer after that on the drive home. Because I probed. I asked him what it was that upset him about it, cos I've yawned or burped in the most unladylike (his word) manner in private and he hasn't said anything about that.
"I don't want my girl behaving in an unladylike, uncouth manner when she's out in public," was what he said.
Oh, so it's not about when I'm around HIM, it's about when I'm OUT in public. Right.
"Ok daddy, you win."
*GRIN* I like it when he get's Dommy.
FFF #32
Welcome to the 32nd instalment of Fit for Friday!
I managed to get my numbers back up last week so yay for that!
Total steps - 80,353
Highest no in a day - 14,523
No of >10k days - 5
And I even exercised 1 day :)
I've baked lots of scones, pound cakes, chocolate cakes... made agar agar... and have managed to still stay in the same weight zone! But maybe having clear soup with veggies the rest of the time has something to do with that. If you want to try a light broth meal, or just want to experiment with some Chinese soups, have a look at these links -
Dried / Preserved Foods for Soups
A Simple Radish / Pork Rib Soup with Dried Mussels, Squids and Dates
Personally, I just use chicken or pork stock and then add a veggie or two and some meat or meatballs to it.
Napa Cabbage, Chinese Spinach (we call it Puay Leng) and Chicken Meatballs (from a packet)
And that was dinner for me and BIKSS on Wednesday evening :)
Have fun with lighter meals! Calories in < Calories burned = Weight loss.
Frisky Risky Business
Youth. Too dumb. Too arrogant. Too blinded by good looks and fat wallets.
Shallow. Young.
A one night stand with a stranger. A meeting in a hotel room.
So many things could have gone wrong. I could have died. Been chopped up into a million pieces.
I could have gone missing. Kidnapped.
I could have been raped. Wait. I kinda sorta was. But that was a different story - that was boyfriend number 1. Not the strangers I met in bars and hotels...
But here are my stories. Some involve sex. Most don't. But all were risks I shouldn't have taken.
He was alone at the bar. I was working part time at the club. He was tall and handsome and was in town for a couple of days.
"Come up for a chat?" he asked. I said yes. Dumb. He was decent enough to let me leave when he made the moves to get 'romantic' and I politely declined. I got lucky.
"Come spend the weekend with me on the island!" He was an intern at the hotel where I worked. He was young. He was cute. His dad was Swiss and his mum was Indonesian. He was a lovely mix of caucasian and exotic. They owned a beach resort property on the island. I was excited. Told the parents I was out of town with girlfriends. Rang the girlfriends and had them cover for me.
We had sex. It was bad. I gave him a blowjob. I was dumb.  Who knew what I might have caught.
He went back to wherever it was he calls home. I never thought to look him up after that.
It was the only time I ever rode a jet ski.
"Let me show you something cool..." he offered to drive me onto the tarmac. I thought, what could it hurt? He was an airforce pilot. I think. I can't be sure. But he was safe, right? "Imagine, you are standing on an actual runway! Planes take off here!" He seemed more excited than I was.
He ran in the same circles as my brother and his friends. He knew I knew the same people.  He wouldn't be an ass right? I got a free meal. He got a blowjob.
And I worked at the airport. I'd been on the tarmac/runway millions of times.
"Are you serious about blowing this joint and coming home with me?" Sure, why not? I was single. He was a friend of a friend. Had a pretty face; had his own place.
We bought condoms.
He couldn't get it up. I went home. I got more out of locking lips with his ex earlier on back at the pub. Now that girl could kiss.
"I brought you soup and noodles" he texted me. He was at my lift lobby. How sweet. How stalker-esque.
He wanted something in exchange for the dinner. Which he brought me because I was ill.
I said no. He insisted.
I gave in. Better just let him fuck and leave, than get into a fight and have the living daylights knocked out of me.
It's just sex. Right? I deleted his number and blocked it.
"I'll give you a lift home. Bygones, ok?" We had been childhood friends. Same church. Same playground. Same friends.
My boyfriend at the time slept with his then-girlfriend. Melrose Place you say? You have no idea.
He was pissed that I didn't keep my guy in line. What? Why is that MY job? They broke up. I didn't. I was dumb.
(The boyfriend went on to have many more flings behind my back - this was the one I broke up with on Christmas eve.)
Eventually he stopped talking to me because he was sore that my guy ruined his relationship.
We met again many years later at a mutual friend's barbeque. It was late. The buses had stopped running. Cabs were expensive. He was extending an olive branch.
I was wrong. He wanted to stick another branch in me, is what he wanted.
"He got to fuck my girl, it's only fair I get to fuck you." He didn't manage to. I fought back enough to be too much trouble.
But I made a police report anyway.
That's how he probably saw himself.
He was in med school. "I can't bring you anything prescription, but I CAN get you OTC lozenges."
I was working in a hospital. I could have quite easily gotten my own drugs. But he had driven 30 minutes to get the Dequadin to me. And waited 20 minutes till my lunch hour.
I was touched. My sister introduced him to me. No. Her friend knew a guy that they both thought would be perfect for me.
He was. Until I realised he wanted to be perfect for everything on two legs in a skirt.
He wined and dined me. And I can't even remember if we fucked the night he took me home to his place at 2 in the morning after a night on the town.
I don't know if I slept with him. But I know 4 other people who did. That's the thing about introducing a good-looking-rich-guy-with-a-future to your gal pals.
McDreamy or McSteamy? Or BOTH?
