We are back from Ho Chi Minh city where we spent 5 days together. The best part? Cuddling into Daddy's arms at night and HEARING him say goodnight and I love you, instead of just reading it on my fone via text. The only thing that was better than that was waking up to his kisses and his hands languidly fondling me.
Sex was had, blowjobs were given, vibrator employed, and even anal after a reset spanking because we got into a thing on the last night there. We did go to bed sorted, but I woke up feeling like I needed some resetting and reclaiming. So I told him and he obliged. He clearly decided that putting his fingers, and later on, Roger, up my arse would drive the message home. And it did. It's one of those sure fire ways of making me feel like I'm his again, particularly after a tiff. We talked about whether it was a power thing for him, and decided perhaps it was. Reasserting dominance I suppose. We didn't bring any lube with us. So I was surprised he managed to get Roger up my arse. I was in an adequately submissive state of mind - feeling open and ready in a way I haven't felt in a while - and I didn't squirm or feel bad about having my butthole explored and penetrated (like I oftentimes do). Turns out my own juices were enough.
As for other parts of the holiday, well, we ate too much, walked even more, and went slightly mad with the shopping. Not that we bought a whole lot of stuff - more like we would pick up something, go back to the hotel, decide it was really good value for money and hop down to the market again to get more (coffee, tea, cashews & tee shirts were prime suspects). Sometimes within the span of a couple of hours! It's a good (or maybe bad!!) thing that our room was literally a stone's throw from the Ben Thanh market. we were on the opposite side of where the roundabout is (you can see it in the pics on that link). There was construction going on at the roundabout tho, so walking to some of the other streets were a little cumbersome, but the two roads on the left and right come alive from about 7 every night with a night market. That's where we did most of our shopping!
This is probably one of the most all rounded trips I've taken with BIKSS -
- we got tickets to a cultural show at the opera house,
- took a dinner cruise on the Mekong river,
- chilled out with drinks at the rooftop bar of an old hotel,
- paid a visit to the war museum (where I got way too emotional and had to step out because it got to me),
- attended Mass at the Notre Dame Basilica,
- crammed with the crowds along Bui Vien street (or what is known as "backpackers area" on the Saturday they were celebrating Halloween no less),
- went a little bit Bohemian and ate Banh Mi (which really just means bread, but is understood to stand for the sandwich) from a street vendor along Book Street,
- shared a flight of beer at a local microbrewery,
- and partook in the best pizzas in Asia at Pizza 4Ps which, luckily for us, was only 5 minutes away on foot. It was so good we ate our first and last meals in Ho Chi Minh there.
And now... here are some of the trip fotos!
That's honey BIKSS is pouring over a 3 cheese pizza. It's SO GOOD!
I'm so gonna pour honey on all my pizzas from now on!
The front of the Opera House - lighted up and looking pretty.
BIKSS getting his first ever manicure and a foot massage at the same time, while I got a pedicure.
We had walked past on the first day and I mentioned we should go in when we have some free time. He couldn't believe it when on day 2 he found himself saying the words,
"We have time now, shall we go get our nails done?"
He rolled his eyes and shook his head as he said it.
It was HILARIOUS!
An older woman being a kick-ass Vespa valet at the Backpacker's Area
- a common sight in HCM city.
Traditional Vietnamese Table BBQ - the grill is built into the table and
when you're done they lift the round grate and replace it with a fresh one for the next guy.
We had venison, squid and wildboar - that was a first for me! Vegetables are complimentary
- they provide pickled / seasoned ones and also some for chucking on the grill.
Graffiti is a thing on the walls outside the Pasteur Street Brewing Company.
Writing this instead of our real names was BIKSS' idea. Good call!
Our beer flight. I drank WAY too much. Considering I haven't drunk in almost 2 years!
The Banh Mi vendor at one end of Book Street.
Sunday Roast - crayons are provided at the table and there's a huge sheet of paper for you
to scribble and draw on. It gave me something to do while waiting.
The view from the dinner cruise boat.
Went to the pizza place for lunch again before our departure -
half and half pizzas are the best idea ever!
That's burrata cheese we're both trying for the first time.
View from the rooftop bar of Caravelle Hotel after the show at the Opera House.
STAIRS. There were many. Everywhere. These ones led up to the microbrewery tap room. We climbed so many flights that by the end of only our second day both of us had aching legs!
This has been possibly the bestest holiday with BIKSS yet!! And now, laundry - and sleep!
